Aaron is our third, paid, pre-grad officer and we're delighted to have him on board working in our union. Aaron represents 300+ HE students here at Dudley College, taking a lead on communication, campaigns, events and representation of the ever growing cohort. Here's what he has to say!

We have been working with our local partners up at Summit Support now for the past few years to promote the great work that they do with the LGBT+ Community and the sexual health testing they provide. Dean has been supporting our LGBT+ club this year helping our students create a safe space for the community within college.

Surinder, Sandy, as he is better known in the office, has been an effective partner for the union of the past few years. We have collaborated on voter registration drives, political education weeks and has constantly kept us informed of external events for our students to get involved in. Here's what Sandy has to say!

Eileen has been a fantastic supporter of the union for many years now, she has been a guest judge for our Talent Show, she has helped our students understand the importance of volunteering, and has always ensure that we have good links with other local organisaions! Here's what she has to say about the Students' Union! Dudley CVS is an organisation which helps young people to get involved with volunteering opportunities around the Dudley Borough, an organisation whose objectives are similar to that of the Union. Eileen has been a strong link between the two, helping the union to connect with additional organisations.

Ian Austin has worked closely with the Students' Union over the past 13 years, and we are pleased that he values the feedback that we can bring directly from young people. Not only has he supported us on campaigns such as Save EMA, but we also have a close working relationship to deliver the annual Holocaust Memorial Event which started as a small rememberance in the Library 10 years ago, to what has now grown to a huge community events which community leaders, community groups and students from across the Dudley Borough attend with well over 300 people attending this year. Ian Austin - Dudley North MP Since Ian took office back in 2005, he has maintained a strong link with the students' union, valuing the feedback that a strong representative organisation can bring, Ian has championed the student voice within the college. The students' union has worked collaboratively with Ian to deliver, what now is, a renowned holocaust memorial service every January.

We are pleased to have initiated a relationship with our local HE union earlier this year. Robin has played a key part of our initiative across the wider region and we simply can't wait to work closer with Robin on our project in the future! Robin Eves - Student Voice and democracy coordinator Robin has been vital in maintaining the link between the two unions, we value his commitment to helping the students voice grown in the Black Country. As BCSU develops we will continue to work closely with Robin to deliver our objectives for students.
